The Ladipo Group, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a Black-owned therapy-group dedicated to the emotional wellness of Black and African-American people and communities. In 2004, The Ladipo Group was founded to increase access to Black therapists and decrease the stigma of mental health treatment. The Ladipo Group offers individual, group, couples, and marriage therapy. The Ladipo Group also hosts culturally relevant workshops, counseling, and consulting to the Black & African-American communities.

Problem
KJS Digital Marketing was brought on to increase brand awareness and establish expertise and credibility of The Ladipo Group by creating and coordinating a clear message and social media presence across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram. The goal behind the social media strategy was to create consistent postings that were informational, generated engagement, and increased their following across all channels – all while creating a safe and inclusive space for Black and African-American communities.

Context
In December 2020, The Ladipo Group contracted KJS to fully manage their LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram accounts to build awareness of their brand and help them to manage growth. KJS also created a brand identity and brand standards across their marketing channels.

Solution
Created and used high-quality and inclusive photography, graphics, current events and creative content to create quality and informative posts in order to create a safe and welcoming space to appeal to the Black and African-American community and organizations wanting to make real changes within their company to create and maintain a culture of inclusion and belonging.

On Facebook, their audience grew by 3.4%, their engagement increased by almost 1,928%, and their number of impressions increased by 1,230%. On LinkedIn, their follower count increased by 292%, and their total impressions increased by 7,225% – all through organic posting.
